Medtronic seeks a senior cloud and platform architecture leader to design and govern enterprise cloud platforms across multi-cloud environments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic architecture leadership to build secure, scalable infrastructure supporting critical business and healthcare initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and govern enterprise cloud architecture patterns across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
  • Design and implement Kubernetes-based platform solutions for scalable application deployments
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Ansible
  • Partner with security and engineering teams to ensure compliance and security requirements
  • Lead technology evaluations, consultations, and architecture discussions with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 18+ years OR advanced degree with 16+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating AWS and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure
  • Proven expertise developing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation frameworks
  • Experience leading architecture decisions and cross-functional initiatives in large-scale environments
  • Knowledge of security frameworks including RBAC, SAML, Kerberos, NIST, or HIPAA
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Microsoft Azure certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Git-based version control, and monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog
