Insight Global is seeking a Senior Oracle Engineer for a top insurance industry client. This candidate will support Assurant's enterprise-wide Oracle transformation initiative, working to develop, enhance, and optimize critical financial applications. The ideal candidate will be heavily involved in hands-on Oracle development, including Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, complex queries, and database logic, while translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This individual will support enhancements, integrations, and modernization efforts across global financial systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive development work throughout the software lifecycle. The environment follows a 2-week Agile sprint model with a heavy focus on development work and about 2-4 hours per week dedicated to standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint demos. The team is looking for a highly proactive engineer who can take ownership of work, execute independently, communicate effectively, and contribute to the success of a large-scale Oracle Financials transformation.
