ABOUT THE ROLE

Neural Sourcing is sharing an open contract role from micro1, an AI training data company. You'll help train the next generation of AI systems by creating realistic, very challenging mobile coding tasks for AI models to solve, along with the reproducible environment and reference solution for each one. No prior AI experience is required. Your mobile engineering expertise is what matters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Create challenging mobile coding tasks using your preferred repositories, such as tracking down subtle bugs, building non-trivial features, refactoring code and improving performance

- Cover app state, asynchronous programming and application lifecycle in your tasks

- Build a reproducible environment for each task and write deterministic verifiers that accept correct solutions and reject incorrect, incomplete or hard-coded ones

- Write a reference solution showing how each task can be solved

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Significant hands-on expertise in at least one mobile track:

- Cross-platform: TypeScript or JavaScript with React Native, or Dart with Flutter

- iOS: Swift with SwiftUI or UIKit

- Android: Kotlin with Jetpack Compose or the Android View system

Plus:

- Deep understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, asynchronous programming and the app lifecycle

- Proven ability to debug complex mobile applications and deliver performance improvements
