Eurofins seeks an experienced Senior Microbiologist for its food testing laboratory in Bengaluru. The role involves performing and overseeing microbiological analyses of food and feed samples, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and timely results delivery.
Responsibilities
Perform and oversee microbiological testing of food, feed, water and related samples
Execute culture-based and rapid microbiological analysis methods
Review analytical results, worksheets and reports for accuracy and completeness
Verify and validate new microbiological test methods and support implementation
Monitor laboratory equipment, media, cultures and environmental conditions
Requirements
M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences
4–7 years of experience in food testing or microbiology laboratory
Proficiency with culture-based and rapid microbiological testing techniques
Knowledge of standard operating procedures and quality management systems
Experience with method validation and analytical result review
