Job Summary:

HVAC engineering activities in mechanical discipline on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit. Plans and directs HVAC engineering assignments on the project. Technical responsibilities for preparing, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

Candidate shall have expertise in CRAH, CRAC, DX, chilled water systems, air-cooled, liquid, and immersion cooling, along with hot/cold aisle containment, underfloor/overhead air distribution, humidity control mechanisms, leak detection system, redundancy strategies.

Candidates shall have technical knowledge and experience in performing detailed design and coordinating these assignments from conceptual stage (LOD 100) to detailed design (LOD 400). 

Candidate having design experience in Data center, Semiconductor facility will be preferred.

Major Responsibilities:

• Preparation of PFDs, schematics/P&IDs, Data sheets. Commenting/review on the same for completeness
• Participating in IDC process. Interaction with Engineering disciplines, Clients / PMC, Bidders / Vendors
• Design, preparation of Mechanical Data Sheets /Engineering drawings, Material Requisition. Review of Quotes, assessing deviations, raising of Technical Queries, Technical Evaluation, Purchase Requisition
• Review of Vendor Prints 
• Interact with Global offices, execute work on workshare mode.
• Assist project/proposal activities
• Coordinate technical issues with other departments on projects 
• Develop standard documentation for use on projects
• Implement/Capture Lesson Learnt
• Providing Inputs for Progress reporting
• Provides technical assistance to other HVAC personnel
• Travel to assist activities at other engineering offices, supplier’s works, construction sites
• Engineering for working on EPC/EPCM, FEED and other modes of project execution

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 11+ years of Relevant experience
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of Global Bechtel team and should have basic flair for working with personnel of different nationalities. Should have a good proficiency for spoken and written English language.
• Candidate to mention valid visa available including detail of Type, expiry date. Denial of USA visa earlier at any stage need to be indicated
