GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineering & Optimization Leader to design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing and testing equipment for medical imaging systems. The role bridges product design and production, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to translate requirements into effective equipment solutions.
Responsibilities
Translate product design and manufacturing requirements into equipment specifications and technical solutions
Lead design, development, and implementation of manufacturing, processing, and testing equipment for medical imaging products
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to develop customized manufacturing equipment
Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and production readiness activities
Identify and drive improvements in manufacturing technologies, automation, and process innovations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering
Significant experience in manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, or process engineering
Demonstrated ability to translate product and manufacturing requirements into equipment specifications
Experience collaborating with equipment manufacturers and vendors on equipment development
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and testing methodologies
Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and production implementation
Strong technical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
