Senior Manager leading a global GMP documentation service team based in India, responsible for creating and revising controlled manufacturing documents for Amgen sites worldwide. The role manages service delivery, quality standards, compliance, team performance, and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of global GMP documentation service; manage intake, triage, prioritization, and handoff to SLAs
• Establish quality standards for document creation, technical writing, and compliance; oversee peer review and quality checks
• Develop capacity plans, workload forecasts, and staffing models to meet commitments across supported sites and time zones
• Manage performance dashboards tracking on-time delivery, right-first-time quality, cycle time, and customer feedback
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing documentation professionals; establish role clarity, training, and career paths

Requirements

• Leadership experience managing documentation or technical writing teams
• Deep knowledge of GMP requirements, controlled-document procedures, and data-integrity standards
• Track record of establishing service-level agreements and performance management systems
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions
• Capability to build and sustain high-performing teams in a global operating environment
