Tuespot is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team in Mohali. This is a full-time, on-site position within our Computer Software/Engineering department, offering a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, scalable software solutions.
As a Senior Java Developer at Tuespot, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining Java-based applications that support our software engineering initiatives. While this role is open to entry-level candidates, we are looking for someone with a strong foundation in Java development and a genuine passion for writing clean, efficient code. You will work closely with other developers and team members to deliver reliable software that meets the needs of our clients and users.
This position is based on-site at our Mohali location, where you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and components
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Collaborate with senior developers and team members on software design
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team quality standards
Debug and troubleshoot issues across the development lifecycle
Assist in designing software architecture and technical solutions
Integrate Java applications with databases and backend services
Optimize application performance and address scalability concerns
Stay updated with emerging Java frameworks and development tools
Support testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
Document technical specifications and development processes
Contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Foundational experience in Java development, suitable for an entry-level role
Strong knowledge of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming
Familiarity with common Java frameworks and libraries
Understanding of databases and backend integration
Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to writing quality code
Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative, on-site environment
