Stryker seeks a Senior Hardware Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives for connected hardware products including communication devices, cameras, and IoT platforms. The role focuses on product reliability, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction across development and manufacturing phases.
Responsibilities
Lead quality activities for new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives
Drive Design for Quality, risk management, and reliability engineering programs
Facilitate DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analyses, and design review processes
Investigate field failures and customer complaints; direct corrective action activities
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and applicable regulatory standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years hardware quality, reliability, or product quality engineering experience
Experience with electronic devices, embedded systems, cameras, wearables, wireless, or IoT products
Proficiency in DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, 8D, and root cause analysis methodologies
Knowledge of reliability testing, environmental testing, and EMC testing protocols
Understanding of manufacturing quality, supplier quality, and process validation
