Senior Software Engineer (SDE II) || Altera Institute - Digiaccel Learning

As a Senior Software Engineer II (SDE II), you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams, and take ownership of key product initiatives from ideation to deployment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, writing clean and scalable code, and building products that create meaningful impact.
Full Stack Development & Product Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, https://jobeax.com/link/AfY7qZRjVtazPhHg, https://jobeax.com/link/6WcBICn0LM558SP0, https://jobeax.com/link/JSd7UYCSg572jJDY, https://jobeax.com/link/wGBLasCtsmGJlvEi).
Build reusable, modular, and high-quality components that enhance application performance and maintainability.
Own features end-to-end—from technical design and development to deployment and post-release monitoring.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to engineering best practices and coding standards.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain a high engineering quality bar across the team.
Continuously improve application performance, security, and overall system reliability.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases through effective testing and validation.
Support technical discussions, sprint planning, and estimation activities within the engineering team.
Performance Optimization & Problem Solving
Monitor application health and proactively improve system stability and user experience.
Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application reliability.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications, APIs, and engineering processes.
3-5 years of experience in full-stack software development using the MERN stack.
