Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop PCB modules for laboratory medical devices. The role involves hardware development from concept through regulatory compliance, including circuit design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration on diagnostic systems.
Responsibilities
Design and develop high-density, multi-layer PCBs with analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits
Own hardware development lifecycle from concept through release, including verification and risk mitigation
Ensure regulatory compliance with IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA requirements
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing, field issues, and design validation
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
5+ years medical or industrial-grade PCB hardware development experience
Proficiency with EDA tools and simulation software (OrCAD, Altium, PADS, PSpice, LTspice)
Deep understanding of EMI/EMC standards and IEC/FDA medical device regulations
Demonstrated problem-solving and complex engineering investigation skills
Experience with product lifecycle management and design change execution
