Senior Design Engineer in Gurgaon, भारत

Stryker seeks a Senior Design Engineer to develop mechanical designs for medical devices, creating CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications while collaborating across cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise in plastic and metal component design, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and technical documentation in compliance with design control and quality processes
• Create 2D and 3D manufacturing and assembly drawings to ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards
• Lead Engineering Change Orders and Change Notices through cross-functional review and implementation
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize manufacturability and cost
• Collaborate with industrial design, electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams to resolve design challenges and support prototyping and validation activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 5–7 years of mechanical design and CAD modeling experience
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric and SolidWorks
• Strong command of engineering drawing standards and GD&T principles
• Experience designing injection-molded plastic and metal components
• Knowledge of medical device design standards (IEC, IEEE, UL, ANSI, ISO)
