Stryker seeks a Senior Design Engineer to create and maintain detailed mechanical design drawings and CAD models for medical devices. The role involves collaborating with engineers on design standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a onsite Gurugram position.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D design drawings using Creo CAD software
Generate manufacturing and assembly drawings compliant with ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards
Collaborate with engineers to resolve design discrepancies and validate specifications
Prepare engineering change notices, BOMs, and design documentation
Support prototype development, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5-7 years of mechanical design and CAD modeling experience
Proficiency in Creo Parametric CAD software
Strong knowledge of engineering drawing standards and GD&T principles
Experience designing plastic and metal components
Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill or Teamcenter (preferred)
Background in medical devices, consumer electronics, or industrial equipment (preferred)
