Role : Senior Cloud Operations EngineerTotal Experience : 5 - 9 yearsKey skills and experience required : - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)- Networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancers, VPCs, firewalls, and IAM- Containers and orchestration : Docker- CI/CD and release engineering : GitHub Actions- Observability, including metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting, with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana- Cloud security, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance fundamentals- Automation and scripting : Python and Bash- Cost optimization and capacity planning, including tagging, budgets, rightsizing, and reserved/committed usage- Database and storage operations, including managed SQL/NoSQL services, Aurora Serverless v2, backups, replication, retention, and recovery- Knowledge of AWS services such as ECR, ECS, S3, Cognito, AppConfig, Secrets Manager, and Bedrock- Strong communication skills and a high sense of ownership (ref:hirist.tech)
