Amgen seeks a Senior Associate to independently manage field incentive compensation plans and cycles, overseeing data validation, eligibility crediting, calculation review, payment processing, and reconciliations. The role requires end-to-end operational ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement initiatives within the Field Excellence team.
Responsibilities
Independently administer assigned field IC plans and compensation cycles with accurate, timely execution per plan rules and governance
Lead end-to-end operational activities including data intake, validation, crediting, calculation review, payment preparation, and reconciliations
Extract, validate, and reconcile IC data across systems; investigate discrepancies and drive resolution with cross-functional partners
Manage field inquiries and escalations; ensure compliance with internal controls, legal requirements, and audit standards
Support new plan implementations, realignments, product launches, and system enhancements while identifying process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of incentive compensation or sales operations experience
End-to-end field IC administration experience including eligibility, crediting, and payment processing
Strong analytical skills for managing complex datasets and identifying root causes
Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel proficiency
Experience in biopharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, or commercial operations preferred
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and communicate complex compensation outcomes clearly
