Job Purpose
To ensure the safety and security of the organization's premises, employees, students, visitors and assets by maintaining effective security, access control and surveillance, while ensuring adherence to organizational security procedures.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Monitor and Secure assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access.
Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors and vehicles.
Verify visitor identity and maintain visitor entry/exit records.
Maintain vehicle entry records accurately.
Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all personnel.
Ensure the safety and security of company property, equipment and premises.
Follow all organizational security and safety protocols.
Maintain security registers and records accurately.
Coordinate with the Admin/Facility team and report any security-related issues.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
Basic record-keeping and register maintenance skills.
Basic knowledge of security and safety procedures.
Good observation and alertness.
Ability to respond calmly during emergencies.
Ability to handle visitors and employees professionally.
Major KRA ( SMART)
1. Ensure 100% compliance with visitor and entry/exit procedures during assigned shifts.
2. Maintain accurate security and visitor registers with complete and timely entries.
3. Conduct scheduled security rounds of the premises and report abnormalities immediately.
4. Ensure timely reporting of security incidents/emergencies to the concerned authority.
5. Monitor movement of visitors, vendors and vehicles and ensure adherence to access- control procedures.
6. Support the Admin/Facility team in maintaining a safe and secure workplace and
ensure compliance with organizational safety protocols.
