Your future duties and responsibilities
SAP SAC/Datasphere/BW Solution Architect JD
Core Responsibilities
. Enterprise Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable data models, star/snowflake schemas, and virtualized semantic layers inside SAP Datasphere.
. Data Integration & Pipelines: Orchestrate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) or replication flows from SAP sources (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SuccessFactors)
. Analytics & Reporting Delivery: Architect executive dashboards, stories, planning models, and self service analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (covering both Live and Import data connections).
. Migration & Modernization: Lead the transition and "lift and shift" strategies moving legacy SAP BW, BEx, or BPC environments into cloud native SAP Datasphere frameworks.
. Governance & Security: Establish data quality rules, role based access control (RBAC), auditing, and metadata management across the data fabric.
. Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints and lead client workshops or design authority reviews.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience Level: 10 to 12+ years in SAP Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Enterprise Architecture who can drive the show independently directly with the business team.
. Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Strong foundation in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SQL, and CDS views. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern data tools (Azure Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks).
. Domain Knowledge: Functional familiarity with core enterprise areas like Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/SD), Procurement, or HCM/SuccessFactors.
. Soft Skills: Executive communication, leadership, workshop facilitation, and cross functional team mentoring.
