SAP MDM Techno-Functional Lead – Data Harmonization & Data Quality Experience: 10–12+ Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Reporting To: Director – ERP Master Data Governance About the Role We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM Techno-Functional Lead to drive enterprise-wide Master Data Harmonization, Data Quality, and Data Governance initiatives across a global organization. The role will focus on standardizing and governing critical master data domains including Material, Product, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance , while supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation and enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate should combine strong SAP MDG techno-functional expertise with experience in global data governance, data quality, harmonization, and stakeholder management, preferably within the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Consumer Healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities
Lead global Master Data Harmonization and Governance initiatives across business units, sites, markets, and functions.
Define and implement global data standards, naming conventions, taxonomies, and attribute governance frameworks .
Drive harmonization of Material, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Finance master data.
Define and operationalize Data Quality frameworks, KPIs, and scorecards covering completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and timeliness.
Lead data profiling, cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and duplicate remediation activities.
Design and implement SAP MDG solutions aligned with global business processes and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Configure and enhance Data Models, Change Request Processes, BRF+ Rules, Validation & Derivation Rules, Duplicate Checks, and Governance Workflows .
Support master data migration, reconciliation, cutover, ERP deployments, site integrations, and new product introductions.
Ensure master data processes support GxP, regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements .
Lead technical design and integration activities across SAP MDM/MDG and downstream systems.
Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Data Owners, Data Stewards, Solution Architects, Business SMEs, and external system integrators.
Lead cross-functional workshops and mentor developers, analysts, and data stewards.
Drive root-cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues impacting Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial operations.

12+ years of SAP experience
5+ years of SAP MDG experience
Proven experience leading global Master Data Governance programs
Strong experience in Data Quality and Data Harmonization
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
Strong understanding of Material Master, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing data processes
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Consumer Healthcare environments
