Outbound Sales Executive

We're hiring an Outbound Sales Executive to bring independent hotels, homestays and resorts onto OpenStays.

You'll own the full outbound sales cycle - from prospecting and outreach to product demos, closing, onboarding and post-sale support - across India.

What You'll Do

Build and manage a pipeline of independent hotels, homestays and resorts, typically 6–30+ rooms, through cold calls, WhatsApp outreach and field visits.
Identify decision-makers, understand their requirements and pitch OpenStays effectively.
Conduct live product demonstrations of our direct booking engine, WhatsApp reservation assistant and guest ID/compliance tools.
Negotiate and close new property signups.
Onboard signed properties onto the OpenStays platform and provide initial post-sale support.
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in the CRM.
Track and report weekly on prospecting activity, calls, demos, conversions and revenue generated.
Take ownership of your sales numbers and consistently work towards - and exceed - targets.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is self-driven, persistent and comfortable with rejection.

This role requires initiative and ownership - there is no hand-holding.

You should be comfortable picking up the phone, approaching businesses you have never spoken to, reaching decision-makers and asking for the sale.

Prior sales experience is valuable, but demonstrated ability to sell matters more than years of experience.

Our application process is intentionally designed to evaluate exactly that.

Role & Growth

This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership and responsibility.

As OpenStays grows, strong performers can progress into team-lead and sales leadership roles.

We're an early-stage company, so you'll have the opportunity to build the sales function, take ownership and grow with the company.

Requirements

Prove your sales ability before you join

We are looking for salespeople who can actually acquire customers, not just candidates with sales experience on their résumé.

As part of our selection process, you can demonstrate your sales ability by bringing at least 5 qualifying accommodation properties in India, each with 10+ rooms, to sign up for OpenStays.

How it works:

Identify and approach qualifying hotels, resorts, homestays, or other accommodation properties with 10+ rooms.
Get them to sign up directly on the OpenStays public pricing page:
https://jobeax.com/link/UkJeIOIqw2SeJrUe
The property must select the Medium plan or above and complete its signup/payment directly with OpenStays.
You do not handle customer payments, pricing negotiations, or sensitive customer information.
Our team manually verifies every reported signup.
Once a signup is verified, you receive a 30% finder's fee on the first year's subscription value.

Importantly, this is paid sales work - not an unpaid assignment.

You will receive the applicable finder's fee for every qualifying, verified signup you generate whether or not you are ultimately hired as a Sales Executive by OpenStays.

Why we're doing this

We want to see evidence that you can:

Identify potential customers
Reach decision-makers
Pitch a product
Handle objections
Convert prospects into paying customers
Generate measurable sales

Your sales results matter more to us than your résumé.

If you can bring 5 real properties onto OpenStays, you have already demonstrated something significantly more valuable than simply telling us that you are a good salesperson.

Benefits

Annual CTC: ₹ 6,00,000 - 12,00,000+ /year Annual

CTC breakup:

1. Fixed pay: ₹ 5,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year

2. Variable pay: ₹ 1,00,000 - 6,00,000+ /year

We believe great salespeople should have meaningful upside tied to the business they generate.

The variable component is performance-based and linked to your sales. There is no artificial cap on your earning potential — the more you sell, the more you can earn.

If you are confident in your ability to sell OpenStays, our screening process gives you an opportunity to prove it before you join . Candidates who can demonstrate their ability to generate real customers should be equally confident about their potential variable earnings.

Strong sales performance = strong earning potential.
