About the job

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help Eastward expand its presence across HORECA, retail, distributors, modern trade, and corporate channels. The SDR will be responsible for identifying potential customers, initiating conversations, qualifying leads, and generating sales opportunities for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and research potential distributors, retailers, caf s, restaurants, bars, hotels, and corporate clients.
2. Generate leads through cold calling, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and field research.
3. Contact prospective customers and introduce Eastward's product portfolio.
4. Understand customer requirements and qualify leads based on business potential.
5. Schedule meetings and product presentations for the sales team.
6. Maintain an updated database of leads, prospects, and customer interactions.
7. Follow up consistently with prospective customers.
8. Coordinate with the field sales team for meetings, sampling, and onboarding.
9. Track lead status from initial contact through conversion.
10. Achieve monthly lead-generation and meeting targets.
11. Collect market feedback regarding competitors, pricing, demand, and customer preferences.
12. Maintain accurate daily and weekly sales reports.

Other requirements

1. Graduate or equivalent qualification.

2. 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, telecalling, or FMCG/F&B sales is preferred.

3. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

4. Comfortable making cold calls and approaching new customers.

5. Good knowledge of the Delhi NCR market is an advantage.

6. Ability to work with sales targets.

7. Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.

8. Willingness to travel locally when required.
