Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon, responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining client relationships in the logistics and supply chain domain. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new customers, conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, and presenting tailored logistics solutions that align with client needs. The role involves coordinating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery, tracking shipments for key accounts, and addressing client queries and issues promptly. The Sales Executive will manage the sales pipeline, achieve revenue and margin targets, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and support reporting and forecasting activities. The role also includes staying updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities to support strategic sales planning.
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on B2B environments.
Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and multimodal transportation, with the ability to understand and explain end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up abilities.
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is highly preferred; prior field sales or account management experience is beneficial.
Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, travel locally for client meetings, and meet defined sales targets and performance metrics.
