Role Overview
We are looking for a Research Intelligence Expert to support academic research, innovation, and knowledge-development initiatives. The role involves conducting advanced research, analyzing scholarly information, identifying research opportunities, supporting researchers, and converting complex information into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and systematic research across academic databases.
- Identify research gaps, emerging trends, and potential research opportunities.
- Analyze research papers, journals, patents, datasets, and industry reports.
- Support faculty members, professors, research scholars, and PhD scholars in research activities.
- Assist with research paper development, journal selection, and publication processes.
- Track Scopus, Web of Science, SCI/SCIE, and other research-indexing requirements.
- Perform citation, bibliometric, and research-impact analysis.
- Identify suitable journals, conferences, funding opportunities, and collaboration opportunities.
- Use AI-powered research tools for information discovery, summarization, analysis, and knowledge extraction.
- Prepare research reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical summaries.
- Maintain organized databases of researchers, publications, projects, patents, and research outputs.
- Support interdisciplinary research and academic-industry collaboration.
- Monitor emerging developments in AI, DeepTech, technology, and academic research.
Required Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent academic and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of research methodologies and literature-review techniques.
- Familiarity with Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, ResearchGate, and academic databases.
- Understanding of citation analysis and bibliometric research.
- Ability to use AI tools and research-intelligence platforms.
- Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with professors, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Research, or a related field.
- Experience in academic research, research assistance, publication support, or research analytics is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, data analytics, or visualization tools is an advantage.
