About the job

Key Responsibilities:

A. Market Research and Lead Generation
1. Research target industries, companies, and key decision-makers using LinkedIn, company websites, business directories, and research platforms.
2. Identify and qualify prospects based on defined customer profiles, business needs, geography, and industry.
3. Collect and verify company details, contact information, job titles, and relevant buying signals.
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential business opportunities.
5. Prepare concise company profiles and research summaries for the sales team.

B. Email Marketing Support
1. Build, validate, and segment contact lists for targeted email campaigns.
2. Support email copywriting, personalization, campaign setup, scheduling, and follow-ups.
3. Assist with A/B testing of subject lines, messaging, and calls-to-action.
4. Track campaign performance, including delivery, bounce, reply, and conversion rates.
5. Maintain unsubscribe and suppression lists while following responsible data-handling practices.

C. Data Management and Reporting
1. Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date prospect records in spreadsheets and CRM systems.
2. Remove duplicate records, standardize data fields, and validate missing or inconsistent information.
3. Use Excel or Google Sheets to organize, analyze, and summarize research and campaign data.
4. Prepare regular reports on prospect quality, research progress, and campaign results.
5. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to improve targeting and ensure smooth lead handoffs.

Other requirements

Required:

1. 1–3 years of experience in business research, lead generation, email marketing, sales support, or a related role.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, IT, or a related discipline.

3. Strong online research skills with the ability to assess source reliability.

4. Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including filters, sorting, data cleaning, lookup formulas, and pivot tables.

5. Understanding of B2B prospecting, audience segmentation, and email marketing fundamentals.

6. Familiarity with CRM systems and prospecting or email marketing tools.

7. Good written English, communication, and analytical skills.

8. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently.

Preferred:

1. Experience with tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

2. Exposure to IT services, SaaS, enterprise software, or learning technology markets.

3. Familiarity with email verification, deliverability basics, and CRM data enrichment.

4. Basic knowledge of reporting dashboards, SQL, or research automation would be an advantage.
