We are looking for a Test Engineer to elevate our software quality to the next level. You will apply your engineering logic and keen attention to detail to solve some of the most demanding technical challenges in the industry. You will have the freedom to design and implement your testing strategies with some of the brightest minds in the space.
Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our software products, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards. This includes functional, regression, and performance testing.
Ensure that all aspects of the engineering design are tested and validated. Defect Identification and Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools. Web Application Testing: Focus on testing web applications, ensuring they function correctly across different browsers, devices, and environments. Validate that the application meets user requirements, provides a smooth user experience, and performs reliably under different conditions.
Integrate testing processes into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that testing is an integral part of the development and deployment process. Continuously seek to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Stay up to date with the latest testing trends and technologies to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements, discuss testing strategies, and ensure alignment on quality goals.
Where applicable, identify opportunities for test automation to increase testing efficiency and coverage. Collaborate with the development team to implement automated tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Global Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a globally distributed remote team, communicating effectively across time zones and cultural differences. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role
Experience in software testing, including test design, test case creation, and defect management
Experience testing web applications
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python, C#, or similar)
Professional experience involving test automation
Experience with Playwright or other test automation tools and frameworks
Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed remote team
English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
Experience using TestMo or similar test management tools.
CAD Diagrams: Ability to read and create CAD diagrams.
Startup Experience: Previous experience in a startup environment.
