Job Description – Area Manager (Health Insurance) Position: Area Manager – Health Insurance

Role Summary
Policybazaar is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Manager to lead and drive field sales operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in insurance sales, proven experience in managing field sales teams, and the ability to consistently deliver business growth through effective leadership and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve business objectives.
Drive sales performance by ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds assigned business targets.
Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
Oversee day-to-day field sales operations and ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to support business growth.
Monitor sales performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans where required.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing field sales teams.
Proficiency in Tamil (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of the Chennai market and customer landscape.
Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based sales environment.
