Job Description :Role Summary :Responsible for Android/AOSP development, Automotive Android integration, and SoC platform bring-up for next-generation automotive systems. The role involves owning Android platform topics, integrating BSP/HAL components, developing system-level/Application level features, debugging complex HW/SW issues, and coordinating with SoC, Linux, middleware and application teams.- Develop, customize and integrate AOSP/Android Automotive (AAOS) for automotive SoC platforms.- Own Android Framework, HAL, system services and platform integration activities.- Work closely with Linux/BSP, SoC, hardware and application teams for platform bring-up and integration.- Develop and integrate AIDL/HIDL HALs, JNI and native C/C++ components.- Integrate and debug display, audio, camera, connectivity, storage, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other SoC peripherals.- Analyze and resolve system-level Android, kernel, BSP and HW/SW integration issues.- Perform performance, stability, boot-time and memory optimization at the platform level.- Customize Android build/configuration and manage AOSP/Soong/Make integration.- Work with SoC vendors such as Telechips for issue analysis, patches and platform integration.- Participate in architecture/design reviews, code reviews and technical discussions.- Drive assigned Android/SoC topics independently from requirement development integration debugging delivery.- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
