We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You are someone who gets a quiet satisfaction from finding the bug no one else caught, from writing a script that saves the team three hours a week, from seeing a pattern in test data that points to something fixable. You do not just run tests, you think about what they mean and what they are missing. You know that quality is not something you inspect in at the end, it is something you build into the process from the start.

Scripting is not a chore for you. Whether it is Python or Tcl, you see automation as a way to make repetitive work disappear so you can focus on the problems that actually need a human. You are comfortable sitting with a dataset, pulling it apart, and surfacing the insight that changes how the team approaches the next release cycle.

You are early in your career but already understand that good engineering is about details, follow-through, and clear communication. You ask questions when something does not make sense. You document what you learn. You show up ready to contribute, not just observe. At Synopsys, you will work on Embedded Memory IP that powers the devices people use every day, and the quality work you do here will matter.

What You'll Be Doing

Coordinate kickoff and release meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and process alignment throughout development and verification.
Run regression test suites on Embedded Memory IP releases and track results across validation cycles.
Analyze test data to surface trends, flag anomalies, and identify root causes of failures or quality gaps.
Write and maintain Python and Tcl automation scripts that streamline testing, reporting, and compliance workflows.
Document test outcomes, process gaps, and improvement recommendations in clear, actionable formats.
Support the team in refining Quality Management System processes based on real-world validation feedback.

The Impact You Will Have

Deliver zero-defect Embedded Memory IP to customers by catching issues before they reach production.
Enable faster, more reliable releases through automation that reduces manual testing overhead.
Surface data-driven insights that help engineering teams make better decisions about where to focus next.
Strengthen the Quality Management System so every release cycle is more efficient than the last.
Support the development of IP on advanced technology nodes that power AI, mobile, and smart device applications.
Build a foundation of quality practices that scale as the product portfolio grows.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
0 to 2 years of experience in validation, testing, quality assurance, or a related engineering role.
Working knowledge of Python or Tcl for scripting and automation.
Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you notice when something is off and you dig into why.

Who You Are

You can take a messy test log, pull out what matters, and explain it to someone who was not in the room.
You are comfortable working across teams, coordinating meetings, and making sure people have what they need to stay on track.
You do not wait to be told what to automate, you see repetitive work and you build a script for it.
You are adaptable and do not get thrown when priorities shift or requirements change mid-cycle.
You care about doing things right, not just fast, and you are willing to ask for clarity when the path forward is not obvious.

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will be part of a highly skilled, dynamic team focused on defining and executing processes and methodology for Quality Management of Embedded Memories. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and are committed to continuous learning and improvement, fostering an environment where creativity and technical excellence thrive.

Rewards and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.

At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, military veteran status, or disability.
