Responsibilities

Design and maintain automated API tests for REST services built with Spring Boot across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Karate, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools.
Improve service testability through shift-left testing and engineering partnership.
Validate end-to-end outcomes through database testing with advanced SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and subqueries.
Execute and automate performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust, analyze results, and recommend fixes.
Integrate automated testing into Jenkins and Spinnaker CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, reporting, and failure triage.
Partner with platform and runtime teams to validate deployments and test execution in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
