Python Backend Engineer - Django/FastAPI in Bengaluru, India

Role Overview : Build and maintain backend services and ingestion pipelines supporting high-volume data intake, validation, transformation, and downstream integration. Deliver clean, tested, well-documented services that meet enterprise security and performance https://jobeax.com/link/9b0G3RbIXIHlbuZS : - Develop backend services and REST APIs in Python (FastAPI / Django or similar).- Implement ingestion, validation, and transformation logic for bulk data processing.- Build and optimise data-processing routines (Pandas / Polars) over large datasets.- Integrate with relational stores, messaging, and external enterprise systems, including SAP (IDoc / OData / APIs).- Implement a configurable business-rules layer and exception handling.- Write unit and integration tests.- Participate in code reviews and CI/CD.Requirements : - 3-5 yrs backend development, strong Python.- REST API design and async patterns.- Data-processing experience (Pandas / Polars); comfort with large-volume, batch workloads.- SQL (Azure SQL / PostgreSQL) and ORM.- Testing (pytest).- Git-based CI/CD.- Nice to have : Azure (Container Apps / App Service, storage, messaging), SAP integration exposure.- Fluent English.
