Product Managers help turn vision into reality.
We are looking for a Product Manager to partner with a local in-person engineering team in Bengaluru focused on music distribution. Distribution is the vital link between music creation and a fan's headphones, ensuring our music reaches platforms like Spotify and YouTube globally while protecting the complex rights that ensure our artists get paid. You will be a 'user-first' thinker who is responsible for a portfolio of features and products, navigating the high-stakes world of global rights, supply chain automation, and high-scale digital delivery.
Build deep empathy for our labels, operations teams, and global partners by maintaining a constant dialogue with them. Define and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for your products, ensuring they align with WMG's broader tech strategy.
Product Trio Collaboration: Work in a 'Product Trio' alongside Engineering and Design to solve complex problems, resolving trade-offs and tackling risks.
Serve as the primary author of PRDs and the 'executor-in-chief' for your projects, driving development from ideation through technical delivery.
You don't just 'ship' code; Continuously monitor product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends. Use this data to make informed prioritization decisions, identify areas for improvement, and manage technical debt to optimize the product over its entire lifecycle.
Experienced: You have at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to the music business or other digital media.
Technical & Business Savvy: You can discuss system architecture with engineers and business constraints with executives, mitigating Value, Usability, Feasibility, and Business Viability risks upfront.
