What we want you to do

Procurement:

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in techno-commercial negotiations, vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and facility/infrastructure procurement. Since we operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment, the person should be comfortable working with ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership beyond a traditional procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

a. Manage end-to-end procurement activities including requirement understanding, vendor identification, evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up .

b. Develop and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier network across technology, infrastructure, facilities, equipment, services, and other business requirements.

c. Drive strategic sourcing and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization.

2. Techno-Commercial Negotiations

a. Lead techno-commercial negotiations with vendors and service providers.

b. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, AMC/CMC, service levels, delivery timelines, penalties, replacement terms, and other commercial conditions.

c. Conduct comparative analysis of technical and commercial proposals and recommend the most suitable option based on business requirements.

3. Facility & Infrastructure Procurement

a. Manage procurement related to facility setup, infrastructure, electrical systems, civil works, networking, security systems, furniture, equipment, maintenance, utilities, and other site requirements.

b. Evaluate quotations, BOQs, technical specifications, project timelines, and associated commercial implications.

4. Contract Management & Negotiation

a. Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, AMC/CMC agreements, work orders, and other commercial agreements.

b. Monitor contract renewals and ensure timely renegotiation where required.

5. Vendor Management

a. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.

b. Resolve vendor-related issues and escalations in coordination with internal stakeholders.

c. Develop alternate vendors/suppliers to reduce dependency and business continuity risks.

6. Startup & Fast-Paced Environment

a. Work effectively in a startup culture where priorities can change quickly and processes may evolve continuously.

b. Work closely with Operations, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Administration, Projects, and Leadership to understand business requirements and deliver solutions quickly.

c. Demonstrate a problem-solving and "get-things-done" approach rather than relying solely on established processes.

d. Be flexible with working hours when business requirements, project deployments, vendor meetings, or critical infrastructure activities demand it.

What we are looking for

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

•⁠ ⁠At least 4-5 years of experience in procurement and operations

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices

•⁠ ⁠Excellent negotiation and communication skills

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

•⁠ ⁠Postgraduate degree or certification in procurement or supply chain management

•⁠ ⁠Experience in a similar industry or sector

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of quality management systems and standards
