Our role is to support our colleagues to make the best commercial decisions possible for Dr. Martens, whether that be in Technology, Marketing, HR or Finance Services, or Facilities to name a few. As a Procurement Advisor in our Global Indirect Procurement team, you will:
Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contracts for products, services, and suppliers
Contribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performance
Review and analyse contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities
Determine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessments
Act as a key point of contact for global stakeholders for indirect procurement activity and develop and maintain strong relationships with business units
Help to plan and execute sourcing strategies that guarantee the most optimum commercial position for Dr. Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, and provide improvement initiatives where appropriate
Provide regular reporting against procurement KPI's
Must-Have Experience:
Excellent analytical skills particularly within Excel and/or Power BI
