Position: Senior Executive – Procurement
Reporting To: Head – Procurement
Work Location: Mumbai Head Office
The Senior Executive – Procurement will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for Electrical Turnkey Projects , ensuring timely availability of materials, cost optimization, vendor compliance, and smooth coordination with Projects, Stores, Finance, and Vendors.
Project Procurement & Execution
Handle procurement of Electrical materials for Turnkey Projects including:
LT Panels, Cables, Wires, Cable Trays, Earthing, Lighting, Switchgear, Transformers, etc.
Ensure timely material availability as per approved Project Schedules & BOQs .
Coordinate with Project Managers / Site Engineers for priority material requirements.
Develop and maintain a strong vendor base for electrical materials.
Conduct rate negotiations to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality.
Periodic vendor performance review on price, delivery, and quality .
Purchase Order & Documentation
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approval matrix.
Commercial terms
Delivery schedules
Taxes & statutory compliance
Project Team – material planning & urgency handling
Finance & Accounts – billing, payment follow-ups, credit terms
Support audits and management reviews related to procurement activities.
Ensure procurement within approved budgets .
Support preparation of procurement MIS reports .
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
