Principal Software Engineer (Java Full stack) in Bangalore, भारत

Eurofins seeks a Principal Software Engineer to design and develop enterprise-scale Java applications, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineering teams. This role combines hands-on full-stack development with architectural oversight and modernization of legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex backend and full-stack features using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Lead technical direction for modules and mentor engineers across teams
• Support modernization of legacy systems to cloud-ready, microservices-based architectures
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and maintainability standards
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams on end-to-end delivery

Requirements

• 8+ years hands-on Java development experience on enterprise projects
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and relational databases
• Strong background in object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native development
• Demonstrated expertise in unit testing, performance profiling, and JVM optimization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Docker, and agile methodologies
• MCA or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
