Principal Software Architect in Bangalore, भारत

GE HealthCare seeks a Principal Software Architect to define end-to-end architecture for the Digital and Device Software platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role owns technology decisions, engineering standards, and security strategy while partnering with leadership to translate product vision into scalable, executable roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as architecture authority for EchoViewer and own major architecture decisions across product lifecycle
• Define end-to-end architecture for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployment models
• Establish architecture principles, reference architectures, design patterns, and technical guardrails
• Drive interoperability using healthcare standards including DICOM, HL7, and FHIR
• Partner with Engineering and Systems leadership to translate architecture into technical roadmaps and release plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Extensive experience as Software Architect, Principal Architect, or equivalent senior technical leader
• Proven track record architecting and releasing complex commercial digital products on-premises and cloud
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud services, APIs, data architecture, and integration patterns
• Strong experience defining technology stacks and architecture standards for large organizations
• Demonstrated expertise in product cybersecurity and secure architecture principles
• Ability to influence leaders across organizational and geographical boundaries
