Principal software engineer to design and deliver scalable .NET applications and microservices for communication platforms. Lead project execution across development teams while applying strong engineering practices and mentoring engineers on complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver software projects including schedules, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
• Design, architect, and maintain scalable .NET applications, APIs, and microservices with REST and real-time protocols
• Implement HIPAA-aligned security practices for data, authentication, and voice communications
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and mentor engineers on engineering standards
• Evaluate technical concepts and design alternatives aligned with business objectives and cost considerations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; 12+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, and Kubernetes
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with WebRTC, SIP, VoIP, real-time voice technologies, and communication systems
• Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting voice quality, connectivity, latency, and device compatibility issues
• Experience building secure communication, clinical messaging, or alerting applications
• Medical-device software experience preferred
