Powder Coating Supervisor in Bangalore, भारत

Job Summary: To supervise and manage day-to-day powder coating operations, ensuring product quality, production targets, safety standards, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily powder coating production activities and allocate work to operators.
• Ensure proper surface preparation, degreasing, phosphating, rinsing, and drying processes, as applicable.
• Monitor powder coating application, film thickness, curing temperature, and curing time.
• Ensure the powder coating booth, spray guns, oven, conveyor, and related equipment are operated correctly.
• Inspect finished products for coating defects such as uneven coating, pinholes, orange peel, poor adhesion, and colour variation.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments.
• Monitor powder consumption, material usage, rejection, rework, and production efficiency.
• Maintain production reports, inspection records, and shift-wise output records.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5S practices.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Train operators on process control, quality requirements, and safe working practices.

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related technical field preferred.
• Relevant experience in powder coating operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of powder coating processes, curing ovens, spray equipment, and surface preparation.
• Understanding of quality inspection, troubleshooting, and production documentation.
