The Plant Head will be responsible for the overall operations of the plant, including P&L management, production, quality, maintenance, tool & mould, HR, dispatch, store & warehouse, MIS, administration, SAP, OPEX, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a data-driven operational leader with strong administrative capabilities and a proven ability to manage large-scale manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operational Efficiency
Lead and optimize daily production operations across extrusion, mixing/compounding, and roto mouldingto maximize output and minimize downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to production schedules while maintaining quality and cost targets.
Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Drive OEE improvement and ensure maximum machine utilization.
Oversee production planning and resource allocation to meet business objectives and market demand.
Quality, Maintenance & Tool Management
Enforce stringent quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and enhance equipment life.
