Operations Manager responsible for optimizing resource allocation, workforce planning, and operational delivery across consulting, implementation, and product development engagements. The role bridges sales forecasts with project delivery, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and utilization across the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage resource allocation across internal initiatives and client projects using organization's tools
Monitor billable and non-billable utilization hours and provide regular reporting to leadership
Develop workforce forecasts and identify resource gaps by comparing project pipeline demand against available capacity
Partner with project managers and HR teams to assign resources based on skills, experience, and career development
Support proposal development and contract preparation by providing staffing estimates and resource availability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Finance, HR, or related field
5+ years experience in consulting, resource management, project operations, or PMO
Experience with system implementation or consulting projects in Life Sciences or Pharmacovigilance
Strong knowledge of resource planning, capacity management, utilization forecasting, and workforce planning
Proficiency with resource management and project management software tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, and forecasting
Experience collaborating with Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Delivery teams
