Zimmer Biomet seeks a Network & Security Sr Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise network and security infrastructure in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on managing Zscaler platforms, firewalls, cloud connectivity, and security policies while providing L2/L3 support across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 technical support for Zscaler connectivity, Zero Trust platforms, and related security services
Design, implement, and maintain Zscaler security policies including web filtering, SSL inspection, DLP, and access controls
Troubleshoot GRE/IPSec tunnels, cloud connectivity, and identity provider integrations
Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow while ensuring SLA adherence and participating in on-call rotations
Identify automation opportunities and contribute to process improvements and operational excellence
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Advanced expertise in Zscaler Zero Trust platforms (ZTB, ZIA, ZPA, ZTNA, SSE)
Proficiency with enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet) and network security technologies
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and VPN technologies
Experience with identity management systems (Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, SAML, MFA)
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Grafana), and Wireshark
Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, or Ansible for automation tasks
