About the job

The MIS Manager will be responsible for overseeing MIS and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of business reports, dashboards and insights to support decision-making. The role will involve managing the MIS team, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, improving reporting processes and driving automation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the MIS team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
2. Oversee data collection, validation, analysis and reporting across multiple sources and departments, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
3. Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports and performance trackers for management.
4. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps and performance insights and provide actionable recommendations.
5. Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reports and databases.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
6. Drive automation of MIS reports and dashboards to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
7. Establish and maintain reporting processes, standards and data documentation.
Manage team performance and task allocation while ensuring timely delivery, adherence to reporting standards and secure handling of confidential business information.

Other requirements

1. Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, advanced formulas, and data analysis functions.

2. Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets.

3. Good knowledge of Power BI/Tableau and dashboard development.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.

5. Strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.

6. Good communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

7. Experience in MIS automation and process improvement is an advantage.

8. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

9. 2+ years of relevant experience required; 5+ years of experience in MIS, Reporting, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.

10. Prior experience in team management and stakeholder coordination is preferred.
