MIS Executive - Logistics CPG in Bombay, भारत

The role requires strong Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, data accuracy, reporting
discipline, and an understanding of logistics operations such as dispatch, delivery, POD,
TAT, OTIF, RTO.

Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics MIS reports.
Maintain shipment-level databases covering dispatch, delivery, POD, RTO and
pending shipments.
Generate city-wise, customer-wise, transporter-wise and warehouse-wise
performance reports.
Track shipment status and identify delayed/pending deliveries.
Prepare management dashboards and operational scorecards.
2. Logistics Performance Tracking
Monitor key KPIs such as:
o OTIF – On Time In Full
o Delivery TAT
o Pending/Undelivered shipments
o RTO update
o POD compliance
o Transporter SLA performance
Highlight exceptions and coordinate with operations teams for closure.
3. Freight & Cost Analysis
Prepare transporter billing and freight reconciliation.
Validate freight invoices against agreed rates, shipment weight, distance and service
type.
Identify billing discrepancies, excess freight, weight discrepancies and cost
leakages.
Prepare cost-per-kg, cost-per-box, cost-per-order and freight-to-sales analysis.
4. Data Management
Maintain accurate master data for:
o Pincode
o Customer
o Transporter
o Rate cards
o TAT
o Vehicle
o Route
Ensure timely data updates and data integrity.
Consolidate data received from multiple logistics partners.

5. Transporter Coordination
Collect daily/weekly performance data from logistics partners.
Follow up for pending PODs, delivery status, RTO cases and exception shipments.
Prepare transporter performance scorecards.
Support monthly transporter review meetings.
6. Automation & Process Improvement
Automate repetitive MIS activities using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, Power
Query, Google Sheets and basic VBA/Apps Script.
Develop dashboards to reduce manual reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and reporting TAT.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidate should have experience in a logistics, courier, e-commerce, FMCG, retail or
supply-chain environment, preferably handling high-volume shipment data and multiple
logistics partners.
