Manager of Software Engineering responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining R&D Portfolio Management applications and data solutions at Amgen. The role involves leading a product team, collaborating across global functions, and ensuring system performance and availability on enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own development and configuration of user stories with Technical Product Owner and Technical Lead
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while managing India Commercialization Technology product team
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data engineering solutions
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and lead DevOps practices for release management
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure integration and operational excellence

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in Python, React, JavaScript, or similar programming language
• Experience with AWS, Databricks, Salesforce, Planisware, or similar enterprise platforms
• Proven experience leading or mentoring technical staff in matrixed organizations
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Git version control systems
• Cloud platform proficiency (AWS) and system integration experience
• Fluency with O365, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and enterprise collaboration tools
