IQVIA seeks a Medical Advisor or Associate Medical Director in Oncology/Hematology to provide clinical and scientific expertise supporting protocol execution and compliance in clinical research studies. The role involves medical oversight of investigative sites, adverse event review, and guidance across project delivery lifecycles.
Responsibilities
Serve as backup or regional medical advisor on assigned projects
Provide medical support to investigative sites on protocol clarifications, inclusion/exclusion determinations, and patient safety
Review and clarify trial-related and serious adverse events in collaboration with relevant departments
Contribute to medical review of protocol, investigative drug brochure, and case report forms
Attend kick-off, team, and investigator meetings; available 24/7 for urgent protocol issues
Requirements
Medical degree in Hematology or Oncology from accredited, internationally recognized medical school
Specialty board certification in relevant area preferred
Prior experience in clinical medicine within applicable medical specialty area
Current knowledge of medical and scientific landscape in oncology/hematology
Knowledge of federal and local regulations and guidelines for clinical research
Strong written and spoken English communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
