Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering team supporting neuroscience product development and sustaining engineering
• Oversee execution of multiple engineering projects against scope, schedule, quality, cost, and technical goals
• Ensure compliance with design controls, quality system requirements, and medical device regulations
• Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering talent while fostering collaborative team environment
• Partner with global cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver portfolio objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
• 15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• 5+ years of people management experience leading teams of 15-20 members
• Strong background in mechanical product development and sustaining engineering
• Experience in regulated medical device product development environments
• Proficiency with design controls, engineering change management, and product lifecycle processes
• Knowledge of risk management practices such as DFMEA
