Responsibilities
Lead mechanical engineering team supporting neuroscience product development and sustaining engineering
Oversee execution of multiple engineering projects against scope, schedule, quality, cost, and technical goals
Ensure compliance with design controls, quality system requirements, and medical device regulations
Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering talent while fostering collaborative team environment
Partner with global cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver portfolio objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
5+ years of people management experience leading teams of 15-20 members
Strong background in mechanical product development and sustaining engineering
Experience in regulated medical device product development environments
Proficiency with design controls, engineering change management, and product lifecycle processes
Knowledge of risk management practices such as DFMEA
