About the job

You will execute laboratory-scale development of advanced technical ceramics, with a strong emphasis on non-oxide material systems. Operating in a highly secure environment, you will translate experimental formulations into dense structural components. This role is ideal for a recent postgraduate or early-career professional.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Synthesis & processing: Execute powder processing, green-body forming, and advanced high-temperature sintering.
2. Non-oxide optimization: Control grain boundary chemistry and phase distributions in non-oxide ceramic systems.
3. Characterization & testing: Utilize XRD, SEM, and mechanical testing to evaluate density, hardness, and fracture toughness.
4. IP compliance: Maintain meticulous, confidential records of experimental parameters within an isolated R&D framework.

Other requirements

1. Educational requirements: MSc or PhD in ceramic engineering, materials science, metallurgical engineering, or a strictly related field.

3. Technical focus: Academic or industrial background in non-oxide ceramic processing and densification kinetics.
