Job Description: Manager – Strategy & Operations (Founder's Office)

Location: Hyderabad
Work Mode: Work from Office
Working Days: 6 days a week
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Notice Period: Immediate joiners to 30 days preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a Manager – Strategy & Operations to work closely with the Founder's Office and senior leadership team of a fast-growing EdTech company.

The candidate will be responsible for solving business problems, analysing data, improving operational efficiency, and driving strategic projects across Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Work with senior leadership on important projects focused on business growth, revenue improvement, and operational efficiency. Manage projects from planning to execution and track results.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and clean business data, prepare dashboards, monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Improve Business Operations: Identify operational challenges across departments and implement scalable solutions with clear timelines.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with founders, senior leaders, and department heads to align priorities and ensure accountability.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, measure outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of total professional experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, Business Operations (BizOps), or Founder's Office roles.

  • Experience working with Series A or later-stage B2C startups; EdTech experience is preferred.

  • Strong hands-on experience with advanced Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and dashboard creation.

  • Ability to analyse raw data, identify business problems, and recommend practical solutions.

  • Experience working with multiple departments and delivering measurable business results.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Structured thinking, problem-solving ability, and a high sense of ownership.

  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL.

  • Experience in consulting or venture capital, followed by hands-on startup operating experience.

  • Team management experience.
