About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
2. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow plans.
3. Track revenue, expenses, profitability, and business performance.
4. Prepare monthly MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial analysis.
5. Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and vendor payments.
6. Analyze revenue streams such as digital advertising, subscriptions, partnerships, and other media revenues.
7. Drive cost control and expense optimization across departments.
8. Support management with financial modelling, business plans, and investment analysis.
9. Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
10. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
11. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
12. Establish and strengthen financial controls, processes, and SOPs.
13. Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
