JOB PURPOSE
The E&I Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, commissioning, maintenance, reliability, compliance and documentation of electrical and instrumentation systems across the plant. The position will lead the E&I team and coordinate with Projects, Production, QA/QC, EHS, Procurement, Vendors and Contractors to ensure safe, reliable and timely completion of projects and maintenance activities.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements, electrical safety regulations, hazardous-area requirements, ISO management systems and company engineering standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIE
Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements and execution strategies.
Review electrical and instrumentation design, engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, datasheets and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal departments for timely project execution.
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Ensure projects are completed within approved budget, timeline, quality and safety requirements.
Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance and work quality.
Review and approve relevant technical documents, drawings, method statements and commissioning procedures.
Ensure proper project handover along with as-built drawings, manuals, test reports and other technical documentation.
Plan, execute and monitor electrical and instrumentation projects from conceptualization through commissioning and handover.
